Love Forever, Like for Always

PRESENTATION OF THE BRIDE
Is there one of her family who is prepared to present _(Bride)_ to _(Groom)_?  /  I do. / Her Mom and I do.

TO GUESTS
Welcome family and friends on this beautiful day. We are here this evening to celebrate and bless the wedding of _(Bride)_ and _(Groom)_. They would like to thank each of you for making the journey to be with them today as they celebrate their marriage. Each of you has touched their lives in a special way, and they are honoured to have you present today.
As _(Bride)_ and _(Groom)_ enter into marriage, they do so with thoughtfulness and reverence. They give thanks for the past, which has brought them to this place, and look forward with hope for what the future will bring.

TO COUPLE
_(Bride)_ and _(Groom)_, I welcome you to this moment in your lives and to the place you have come to in each other’s hearts. I join with you on this day, in the uniting of your two souls already attuned to one another.

DECLARATION
But first I am required to ask anyone present who knows a reason why these persons may not lawfully marry, to declare it now. And if either of you knows a reason why you may no lawfully marry, you must declare it now.

VOWS
_(Groom)_, would you please turn toward _(Bride)_, take her hands in yours, look deep into her eyes, and share with her your vows?

There was darkness for a long time
and now there is light,
and that light is you.

I pledge before our family and friends
to be your husband from this day forward.

I will like you for always,
as long as I’m living
your husband I will be.

DECLARATION
For as much as you _(Groom)_ and you _(Bride)_ have pledged your faithfulness to each other in the presence of this company; and have confirmed the same by the joining of hands and the giving and receiving of rings; now therefore, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Province of Ontario, I pronounce you husband and wife. Let all others honour your decision and the threshold of your home.

You may kiss your bride.
