I've always felt that beauty involves much more than outward appearance, but outward appearance, properly prepared and displayed, forms a enhancing frame around that beauty. Makeup not only makes up for what might be missing in natural endowment but, in the hands of an artist, makeup can enhance facial features, smooth and blend facial skin tones and contribute to the glow so characteristic of brides.

As she arrives he reaches to touch a precious jewel, a treasure about to commit herself to him for life. What a privilege! What an honour!
