Wedding Photographers Catch Only Momentary Glimpses
of Your Wedding
Wedding photographers capture your wedding in momentary glimpses that
add up to less than a minute of the whole event. Hopefully your wedding
photographer will exercise sufficient creativity to depict almost all of the
various flavors of your wedding.
Delegate Someone to Guide and Provide for Your
Wedding Photographer
If you want specific photos with certain people in them, be sure to
let the photographer know. As well, it is important that you delegate
someone to draw together the people you want in the photos, someone
who knows what they look like and can take charge to bring these people
to the location where the photographs are being taken. This is so
essential, since your photographer cannot be expected to know what the
significant people in your life look like.
Wedding Photography is Artistry, but Wedding
Photography is not Studio Photography
Then there is the camera artistry of perspective, angle, aperture,
exposure time and lens. Despite all of this, except for photos taken in
controlled settings, couples need to be aware that what they are not
receiving studio photography. Lighting is not controlled, nor are
expressions and actions or where they occur. What the photographer
documents is the delightful dynamic of actions at an actual event, with all of its actual,
uncontrolled aspects. If, for example, the venue provides coloured
lighting, people may seem green or some other colour, because at that
moment that is the way they appear.
